Words cannot express how happy I am with the window treatments that JJ designed and installed in my living room and dining room earlier this year. The valances and drapes are absolutely beautiful and her work is just impeccable. She is incredibly professional and is excellent at helping to achieve the vision that you want. On the day of installation, she and her assistant came in and just got right to work installing the window treatments as well as some rods in the bedrooms, making sure that everything was perfect. I would definitely use JJ again in the future and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She is a pleasure to work with and is top notch at what she does! First, the products themselves. The discussion around our needs was complete; the samples provided met out needs, and selection was easy. We are very happy with each of the drapes. Second, scheduling and delivery. You made appointments that were convenient for me, thank you. You were timely in “late notices,” when you were delayed with another customer. I am amazed that you met your “late” times each time you needed to be delayed. You and your team went about the work of hanging and adjusting the drapes quickly and professionally. What a pleasure! Thirdly, follow up. You have come through to meet each need I expressed. Although we are not yet done [I am awaiting the finials and the new pillows], I am confident that you will come through as you have done in the past. I have already recommended you to friends, and I will post your card on the condo bulletin board if the condo board approves. That should happen later this week. I look forward to further work with you, on my dining set chairs and on a small curtain for the connecting wall in the enclosed terrace. When we decided to have our living room area done, a friend had recommended this company to work with. Upon explaining our vision for the room, the designer took her time to find the right fabric, design, accessories and price to match our style and design for the room. She gave us a quote ( which was reasonable) and time to deliver. The service was warm, friendly and professional. When the job was completed, we had them do another 6 rooms in our home. I am so happy with the quality of the work that was done and would recommend this company to everyone I know who is getting window treatments added to their home. In December 2013 a Holiday Designer Showhouse was held at the Endicott Mansion Glen Magna Farms Danvers Ma. The property is owned by the Danvers Historical Society. Fifteen Interiors Designers transformed this remarkable property which not only honored the past history of the mansion but added a bit of fresh modern appeal. The event was attended by over one thousand guests and published in numerous newspapers design magazines and on all of the social media channels. I was the Chair for this show. I am by trade an interior designer and member of the historical society. I have enjoyed a professional relationship with J & I Custom Upholstery for several years. J & I Custom Upholstery participated in the Showhouse producing (for the Designer of the Drawning Room) the most outstanding unique and graceful window treatments in the mansion. Not only are the treatments visually beautiful the very construction of each aspect of every drape demonstrates a technical knowledge found only in years of experience in the field of fine design. I have utilized the talents of J & I on other projects I have done in the past. One in particular was a room I designed at the York Showhouse in York Maine. Again the quality of this work reflected the companies creativity and professionalism. In summary I believe this company has the versatility technical capability insight and high standards necessary to meet the sometimes rigorous demands often found in the field of fine interior design.
